About Me

This page is about me.

My name is Hans Hallanger and I live in Southeastern Wisconsin. I am a divorced father of two great kids. I live near my children and see them a little bit every week.

My career is as a Civil Engineer working in the private sector. I am involved in land development projects such as residential subdivisions and commercial development.

I love to be organized. It helps my career, my parenting, my goals and my free time.

My work as a Civil Engineer has helped me to be more organized. You have to have a certain amount of organizational ability, knowledge and persistence to even be an engineer in the first place. The plans I create are nothing more than an organized method to show what a project should look like when it is built and the methods, procedures and standards that have to met in order to build it properly.

Some engineers that I have met over the years have been wonderfully organized and inspirational. Some others, not so much. Most fall somewhere in the middle.

This website is my ideas on how anyone can be more organized to make their own life as great as possible. I try to show how being disorganized and keeping clutter does not help a person at all.

I use my free time from being so organized to lift weights, travel, spend time with my kids, family and friends.
