Clean House Tips and Tricks

Everyone wants a clean house. It's just the hard work of doing it that people want to avoid.

Here are some tips and tricks to make it easier:

1) It is easier when there is less stuff to work around. Get rid of clutter.

2) Concentrate on creating open spaces in your home. This goes hand in hand with getting rid of clutter. Note that getting rid of clutter means throwing it out not just putting it somewhere else.

3) Bathroom and kitchen counter tops should have as little aspossible on them. This makes it so much easier to work on. You just spray a little of the solution on the counters and then wipe with a microfiber cloth.

4) Keep supplies and tools where you need them. Put a bottle of solution and microfiber cloths under your kitchen and bathroom sinks.

5) Make it as easy as possible for yourself, not as difficult. Get the right supplies. Put the solution in a good sprayer instead of leaving it in the cheap sprayer that you bought it in. Buy a bunch of microfiber cloths to clean with.

6) Put the supplies right where you need them.

7) Do this work fairly often so things don't get as dirty. It takes less than a minute to spray an uncluttered bathroom sink and wipe it down with a good cloth.

8) Move fast, don't dawdle over it.

9) Do not be a perfectionist. It is going to start getting dirty right away anyway. Just do it quick and be done with it.

10) I think the best way to think about these tasks is that you will be doing it often, so there is no need to be perfect. Work as fast as you can. Hustle and get it done and move on.

11) Having a spotless home, car, clothes, whatever, is great, but having time is better. Only spend the time as necessary. Besides, the stuff that is out is what makes things look bad. It is not really dirt and filth, it is piles of stuff that is the mess.
