Easy Living Ideas

Easy living involves getting more organized as the first step.

Making any type of a change or doing something different involves effort and time.

Without time to do something, you will not be able to do it.

If all your energy is spent, you will not be able to do anything you enjoy.

My way is to have yourself, your stuff and your life organized to a high enough degree that you have the extra time and energy available to do what you want to do.

You cannot make time. There is only this time available. The only way you will be able to do something is to not do something else or reduce the something else as much as possible.

The best, some would say only, way to get things done you want is to not do other things. This is really the way. Subtract first, then add. Adding first will make your life cluttered and stressful and you will make little progress on your goals.

But if you subtract first, you will find yourself with extra time. Then you can use that time to your best advantage.

Another way to think of subtraction is the using the idea of less.

Less is a word that when it is in front it is good and when it is back it is bad.

Good less:

1) Less stuff.

2) Less clutter.

3) Less to do.

4) Less debt.

5) Less problems.

6) Less weight.

Less isn't all good. Bad less includes:

1) Worthless.

2) Listless.

3) Restless.

4) Shiftless.

I think you get the idea. Get organized, subtract and do less to enjoy easy living.
