How To Get Organized?
Concentrate On Little Things

How to Get Organized is a question a lot of people have. In order to get organized you do need to concentrate on it. It just doesn't happen by itself. How to get organized is a mindset and a way of thinking more than anything else.

I like to concentrate on the little things as much as I can so that that part of my life works better and easier and in that way I am making sure I take care of what is most important to me.

Here is a list of little problems that I have experienced over the years and that have caused me some degree of pain and frustration. These types of little problems will sap your energy, your time, your money and your ability to do other things. If you want to know how to get organized you really need to take care of little things like this as soon as possible so that they do not turn into a major problem:

1) Your feet hurt because you are wearing old, worn out shoes. You do not want to buy cheap shoes that you can afford now. You much prefer better more expensive shoes but they are not in your budget right now.

2) Your checking account is overdrawn because you made a mistake in the register. Now you have to pay a big bank fee. Concentrate on your math and use a calculator.

3) You can't pay all the bills that are due now. Some you will have to pay late and you will get more fees added on.

4) Your credit cards are maxed out. You are worried that you have no savings and if you really need something or have a problem or emergency you will not know what to do.

5) Your tooth hurts. You know you need to go to the dentist but you do not have dental insurance and you do not want to spend a lot of money now since you do not have any.

6) Your glasses are old and broken and you cannot see that well. You know it will cost a lot to get new glasses so you keep postponing your appointment.

7) You didn't take your car to the mechanic when it started acting up. Now it doesn't work at all. These first 7 items mostly have to do with having enough money. One of the best ways on how to get organized is to concentrate on making money, not spending all you have and setting aside plenty of it for the future.

8) You keep going to things you really don't want to go to because you don't want to tell someone you want to quit.

9) You never have any free time because you are afraid to say no to anything.

10) You don't tell your boss about a problem at work because you are worried what he will say to you. The problem doesn't go away on its own and may get even worse.

11) You continue to go to a church that doesn't feel right to you because you are worried how the people in the church will think of you. You waste all that time going to something you do not believe in. That is time you could be spending doing something that is important to you.

12) You don't say anything to your spouse about what is bothering you because you are worried about what they will say. Now the years slip by and the problems become too big to deal with and you have to leave.

13) You don't approach someone who you are attracted to introduce yourself because you are worried how you look or appear. Now you will never see that person again and you have missed your chance.

14) You don't use caution when you should.

15) You forget things or are nervous about forgetting or you don't understand how things work because you don't write things down.

16) You are too busy to even think about easy living.

17) You can't seem to keep your house picked up.

18) You aren't ready for winter.

19) You know you need to get busy getting ready this spring for summer but you do not know where or how to start.

20) You do not avoid doing difficult things at night.

21) You spend too much time doing things you do not want to do. 22) You blindly do what others say because they say it is for your own good.

23) You made a poor choice of car years ago and every day you face this frustration.

All these types of little problems will either be irritations, frustrations or will grow into huge problems if you do not deal with them.

By keeping on top of the little things and acting on them quickly you will head off bigger problems later.

That is how to get organized.
