Organized for College
It' the start of summer but it is not too early to start getting organized for college. Starting early will make getting ready less stressful and less expensive. I can remember when I was going off to college for the first time. It was really the first time I was going to be away from home for more than 3 nights in a row. I did not really know what to expect. I was excited and nervous. I was going to be rooming with a friend from high school so that was good. My mom, dad, sister and brother all took the trip down to my school to drop me off. I was not going to have a car. My parents still talk about seeing me in their rear view mirror as they drove off and wondering if they did the right thing. Thankfully, college was a wonderful experience for me. It can be a great thing for a lot of kids. One thing that would have probably helped me was to have some better supplies from a source I have listed below:

When I went to school there was no internet. Now kids and parents are lucky to be able to shop on-line at great stores like these to find the best school supplies at the best prices. All these types of good products will make the college experience a little less stressful, more like home and getting organized for school much, much easier. Starting anything earlier is really the key to any type of organizing or preparing, especially for something new and stressful like college. If you have already been in college for a year or more, this would be the time to list all the things you wish you had the past year. This would include all the little and big things that would have made the past year better, more organized, more fun or a better learning experience. So often once we make it through something we just forget about it and move on only to have the same situation pop back up again later. Well, this is how you learn from your experience. Think of exactly what you needed to get, buy or do to make the past year better. Then you can take steps this summer to obtain those things or think them through enough to see if it still makes sense for you to get organized for college.
