Be Ready For Whatever
Be organized for life and whatever situations you find yourself in. My parents told me a story of something strange that happened to them recently. They were in a restaurant parking lot of a fairly large City when a man in his mid 50's ran up to them in their car. He told them that he didn't have any money and he needed to get to his grandchild who was in an accident up north. My parents were a little suspicious and asked him some questions to see if he was trying to scam them. When they were somewhat satisfied that he wasn't trying to scam them they asked him how much money did he need? He said $40. They said that seemed a little high to get a little gas so they ended up giving him $10. When they told me this I was skeptical also. I had been scammed for $20 by a guy claiming he needed a ride and some money. I wonder how a man in his 50's would not have gas in his
car
and keep a few bucks in
cash
on him all the time.
How has he lived this far?
