Visualize an
Organized Home

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have an organized home? All things in their place, no clutter strewn about and everything just so. Why should that be an impossible dream? It shouldn't. It is possible; the evidence is all around you. Some people have that, you can too.

You just need to do what they do and what they do is use the power of visualization to make their homes that way.

Visualization is not just a tool of superstar athletes and billionaire business owners. Anyone can use it for just about anything.

Let's face it, it is much easier to work on being organized than being a professional athlete or owning an international business empire. You probably won't be able to do much of anything if you can't even be a little more organized. So start there, with getting an organized home.

The work involved is not that hard. To me, hard work is continually dealing with stuff I do not want or have any use for. That is hard.

Walking sideways down hallways and stairwells stacked with stuff is hard.

Having a mountain of dirty clothes to wash, dry and put away is hard.

Wearing my worst clothes because my best clothes are dirty is embarrassing.

Not being able to find an important paper when you need it is hard.

Being late to work is putting your job at risk.

Having people stop by unexpected and being ashamed to have them see your home because of all the stuff is an awful feeling.

By thinking of these negative situations you are using visualization. You picture in your mind the difficult situation you put yourself in and can see that by taking the proper steps earlier you would be able to avoid the difficulty.

Just think of the opposite of those situations and work toward that. That is visualization.

You don't have to continually deal with stuff, you can just methodically go through your things and toss a lot out.

You don't have to keep everything until it is stacked in your halls and stairs. Visualize open hallways and clear, safe stairs instead. By seeing that you will get the stuff out of there and keep it out.

You don't have to wait to do laundry until you have a huge amount. Just do it more often.

You can create a simple, easy to use filing system.

You can get to bed earlier so you can get up earlier to make sure and get to work on time.

You will welcome guest into your home if it is nicely organized and clutter free all the time.

Once you visualize a more clear, organized home first, you will do the work, the easy work to make it so.

Saving things just in case will not make sense to you.

Buying lots of things on sale will not give you the same satisfaction as waiting to buy exactly what you want.

You will think twice about bring something into your house that will clutter it up.

Once you have an organized home you will find that everything you do is easier and better.
