Organized Lifestyle Tips: 1) Toss out as much excess clutter as possible. This is always the first step to get more organized. You cannot hope to be organized without doing this work. It will not happen. 2) Evaluate what you are doing to see if any activities can be eliminated. You do not have to continue to do everything. In fact, there is no way to have an organized lifestyle when you are trying to do too much. You have to learn how to subtract activities from your life before you add more. 3) Avoid information overload. It is so easy to sign up for numerous ezines and RSS feeds. I sign up for a lot of these in order to check them out in more detail. After I have had a chance to read these for awhile I go through them and unsubscribe. So do not be afraid to unsubscribe (except for my site, of course). 4) A big problem is dealing with people. Your spouse may be a pack rat or really disorganized. There is really no way to insist that others be more organized. You can only be organized yourself and show them a good example. This will cause you to make the hard choices of how you want to live your life and who you want to live it with. 5) Be willing to say no, a lot. This really cuts down on all the excess activities that you do not really want to do. No may have to be your used word for however long it takes you to get your life better organized. 6) Look for ways to speed up what you normally do. These things have to be done but if you can minimize the time spent, you will be much farther ahead. It never hurts you to speed up, pick up the pace and hurry.
