Organized Travel
Travel Kit Tips

I love to travel. But it can be a headache getting ready. Organized travel is much better. I’ll go for one night, a weekend or a week. I’d go for a month some day if I had enough time off and enough money.

A problem with traveling is the preparation and being organized when you are gone. I always have my travel kit packed and ready to go. I can get a call from a friend or my parents and be packed and in the car in 10 minutes. I just put my travel kit and my clothes into a duffel bag and go.

The clothes will be determined by where I am going, the temperature and the activities. Since I don’t have that many clothes the decisions are really simple. All you need is your travel kit and something to wear. That is easy traveling, real simple.

Your travel kit should be in one of the small zippered cases and should be stocked ready to go all the time. You should have the miniature items that you see in the stores rather than the large sizes. By all means take what you need, but do try to keep the amount to a minimum. I have the following in my kit packed and ready to go:

1. Toothbrush in toothbrush holder.

2. Small tube of toothpaste.

3. Razor in razor holder.

4. Small canister of shaving cream.

5. Comb.

6. Small canister of antiperspirant.

7. Small bottle of shampoo.

8. Small bottle of contact lenses solution.

9. Contact lenses in holder.

10. Extra contact lenses.

11. Eyeglass holder.

12. Bar of soap in soap holder.

13. Washcloth.

14. Cologne.

This amount of stuff fits easily into those small travel kits. I am always assuming that I will be going soon so I always keep it stocked. I like being ready to go in an instant. Use this organized travel idea and your traveling will be a pleasure.
