The Easy Guide to
Pay Less Taxes

There is an easy way to pay less taxes.

The normal approach is to vote for a politician who promises to reduce taxes. You join groups like the Tea Party movement or other groups like that. You go to rallies and gatherings. You try to work within the system. You are patient and wait for the right person to make things right for you. Then when the your person gets in there is not really any noticeable change.

It does no good to vote for the party that claims it will reduce your taxes. Government itself is the problem. There is no solution when their is a government in charge.

What you want to do is find ways to pay less taxes by changing what you do yourself. That way it does not matter who is in the government and what they are doing. For example you could:

1) Work for yourself and structure your earnings to minimize income taxes. This is how the richest people in the world avoid taxes. Why shouldn't you do this also? There is nothing saying you have to remain an employee your entire life.

2) Buy a less expensive house to minimize property taxes. This is such a simple idea but so few people grasp it. The more expensive your home, the more it will be taxed. I shouldn't say that everyone does not get it. There are states that have a much smaller property tax or even do not have property taxes. Wealthier people usually move to these states.

3) Buy less expensive things to minimize sales taxes. Sales tax is a percentage of the cost of the item. If the sales tax rate is 5% and the item costs $10, the tax is $0.50. If the item is $20, the tax is $1.00. Since the cost of the item doubled, the tax doubled. So every time you spend more for a more expensive item, the amount you pay in sales tax also increases. This is one of the biggest reasons that governments increase inflation. As prices for things rise, the tax revenue rises also. Governments do not have to increase the tax rates, because the amount of taxes collected keeps rising with the rise in prices due to inflation.

4) Buy things in a way to avoid sales tax like on-line, privately, barter, rummage sales and flea markets. This is huge. You can avoid taxes in a huge way by doing things like this.

5) Use less services like utilities that have a lot of hidden taxes. Did you ever study your utility bills? There are all kinds of extra line items.

6) Do things that are free more often.

I am all about finding ways to improve my life in simple, easy to do ways. I want to pay less taxes and keep more of my money for myself.
