Increase Your Productivity By Speeding Up
Do you struggle to get things done? Increase your productivity by speeding up. There are a lot of times when you will need to speed up. I like to do a lot of things fast. I will run errands fast. I will grocery shop fast. I will do housework fast. I will get ready fast. I will go to bed fast. I will watch TV fast. Do you get me? Speed up for more productivity. Do things fast that can be done fast. I go Christmas shopping fast. I decorated the Christmas tree fast. There are a lot of things in life that need to be done or that are nice when they are done but that you don’t need to spend too much time on. There are lot things that need to be done but don’t contribute much to your life or that you don't really enjoy that much. You have to know where you can speed things up. People who go by the saying “Haste makes waste” in all they do are just too slow moving for me. When it’s time to hustle, hustle. When it’s time to go, go. When it’s time to get the project done, get it done. When it’s time to go to bed, go to bed. When it’s time to end the relationship, end it. If you have decided something, act on it. When you're at work, work. When you are done, you’re done. Speeding up and increasing your productivity becomes a kind of game once you start going faster. Your mind will work faster, your pace will quicken. All your chores will get done quicker. You will gain some time for the things you really want to do. When you do, then you can slow down. It’s usually better to go faster when you are dealing with people. I don’t want to be the one everyone is waiting for. I like to be one of the first ones ready. It just seems better and more considerate. So when I am traveling with friends or family, I make it a point to get ready quickly. Another way to speed up and get more done is to use two hands as much as possible. This occurred to me one day while I was doing laundry. I reached into the washing machine with both hands and pulled out all the clothes in 2 pulls. Normally it would take 10 or more pulls with one hand. I had only been using one hand for months because I had a painful shoulder injury and I tried to limit any lifting with that arm. Now that my shoulder is feeling better I can use it more. I immediately saw the result of using both hands. This really made me think of how much more productivity you will have by using both hands as much as possible. Think how much faster you can type using two hands. I know an engineer who uses both hands to use his calculator. He is a very fast and efficient worker. Do whatever you can faster, it will really help your productivity.
